 Upper Deck's retro multi-sport brand hits the collecting world for a second year via 2022 Skybox Metal Universe Champions. Featured sports include baseball, basketball, boxing, football, golf, hockey, MMA, soccer, and tennis.

Arena Design, the team behind 1997-98 Metal Universe Basketball, is back to handle the throwback stylings.

Hobby boxes should contain at least one autograph, Precious Metal Gems card or Skybox parallel (from Skybox Premium, 1998-99 Retro Star Rubies or Z-Force).

The main card lineup in the 2022 Skybox Metal Universe Champions checklist offers 100 base cards and 50 high-series Metal Shredders (#101-150) cards, which are a new addition.
