The early-season release offers rookie redemptions and new inserts to collect.
Joining the Hobby format are several Retail options, including Blasters, Fat Packs and Retail Display boxes.

The base set for 2023-24 Upper Deck MVP Hockey totals 250 cards with the final 50 cards being part of the SPs & Rookies subset.
Averaging one card per pack, Ice Battles switches out the stats and bio on the back for a Pack Wars game.
Other parallels include Silver Script, Super Script (#/25) and Black Super Script (#/5). These Script editions each add a facsimile signature.
Falling at a rate of 1:800 packs, the Magenta Autograph edition is only for select names in the SPs & Rookies subset.
