Each Hobby box should deliver an ample supply of short prints, parallels and inserts, as well as one "rare hit card" that was not specified.

The 2022-23 Upper Deck MVP Hockey checklist offers 250 cards via a base set with 200 cards alongside 50 short prints (#201-250) in the High Series Star / Rookies SP subset.

Ice Battles (1:2 packs) features Pack Wars gameplay on the back.

The Base High Series selection also adds rare Magenta Autographs at 1:400 packs for select players.

There are also 2022 NHL #1 Draft Pick SP Redemption cards (1:1,250 packs), with Gold parallels (1:12,500 packs), for one top player.

20th Anniversary (1:5 packs) revisits the 2002-03 design with limited Gold (1:36 packs) and Super Script (#/25) parallels.

As usual, the Colors & Contours cards are die-cut and eye-catching, offering Gold (#/250), Green (#/20) and Purple (#/3) editions.

Among the all-new sets, 2022-23 Upper Deck MVP Hockey unveils Domains (1:7 packs), honoring the home country of the player with a flag background. Gold parallels average 1:50 packs.

There's also Encounters on Ice (1:10 packs), a dual-player insert that focuses on rivals. These, too, come in a short-printed Gold edition (1:75 packs).

And that leaves Pinpoints (1:7 packs), which is for the top NHL shooters. Each Hobby box should include three Pinpoints inserts and one Gold parallel (1:20 packs).
