Pokémon TCG tournaments use the Standard format, while Pokémon video game tournaments use the format detailed in the \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/play.pokemon.com\/resources\/documents\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"\u003elatest regulations\u003c\/a\u003e. Pokémon GO tournaments will use Great League format battles. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePokémon TCG players need to bring their own 60-card deck. Pokémon video game players need to bring their own \u003cem\u003ePokémon Scarlet\u003c\/em\u003e or \u003cem\u003ePokémon Violet\u003c\/em\u003e game and their own Nintendo Switch system. Pokémon GO players need to bring their own mobile device. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePlayers must have a \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.pokemon.com\/us\/account\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"\u003ePokémon Trainer Club\u003c\/a\u003e account with a Player ID attached, and they must have opted in to the Play! Pokémon program in order to earn Championship Points and prizes. All participants will receive 1 Play! Point just for playing, and additional prizes may be awarded at the Tournament Organizer’s discretion. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eChampionship Point awards have the same values for Pokémon TCG, Pokémon video game, and Pokémon GO competitions. The \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.pokemon.com\/us\/play-pokemon\/about\/tournaments-glossary#bfl\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"\u003eBest Finish Limit\u003c\/a\u003e (BFL) for both League Challenges and League Cups is 4 each—they do not share a Best Finish Limit allotment.
